Visiting Leung King Plaza 🛒
To equip students with experience of self-exploration and connection with the Tuen Mun community, we are honored to have Link supporting the tour. Stepping into Leung King Plaza, students got closer with the shopping centre’s operators and deepened the understanding of sustainable development behind simple designs.
Before the tour visit, asset management team from Leung King Plaza introduced a series of sustainable developments, students learnt about EV Charging station and Foodie Yard, most importantly understanding how the shopping centre integrates “green design” with the concept of ecological operation.♻️

During the visit, students first explored the open areas of the shopping centre, knowing the concept of “Placemaking”(transformation of public spaces into vibrant community hubs), students easily spotted the “wild elephant” design and discovered the joy of “Nature”. Besides, the visit offered chances for students to freely walk around and interview staff members at different positions, including counter-service officers and property managers. From this valuable exploration, they acquired a broader insight of sustainability, specifically the definition and execution. By interviewing different staff members, they made use of communicative skills and gained aspiration for revealing new viewpoints on potential career pathways. Holistically, the activity inspired them to think about how they could benefit their communities. 🚶🏻♀️🚶🏻♂️

✨Thanks to Link team for their ongoing assistance, we appreciate this outdoor learning engagement, and we look forward to giving students more chances to explore further, discover, and learn.
