All children should have equal opportunity to learn, grow, and realize their potential.
Our Fellowship Program ▸ How We Do It ▸
The Challenge
Children’s backgrounds dictate their future successes.
Economically disadvantaged children often receive less exposure, education resources, support and opportunities. Our education system is not designed to enable all children to realize their potential.
4.5 yrs
below in academic abilities compared to other students
2.3x
less likely to be admitted to universities
83%
underprivileged families can’t pay for education
While there is no single solution to education inequity, it starts with a community of leaders. They take children’s perspective, understand real challenges, and commit to changing the system.
We first find the most promising young leaders to teach in underprivileged schools in our year-long Fellowship Program. From day one, they help students grow and broaden their exposure. This transformative classroom experience, coupled with our developmental support, empowers these future leaders to create long-lasting changes for education equity across sectors.
