A Journey Continued: From the Marathon Tracks to the HAECO Hangar 🏃‍♂️➡️✈️

Building meaningful connections doesn’t happen overnight; it’s a journey that requires time, consistency, and shared experiences. Following our students’ participation in SCHKM 2026, this month we were delighted to bring our runners from Salesians of Don Bosco Ng Siu Mui Secondary School into the heart of the aviation world — a meaningful continuation of the mentorship journey for those who previously bonded over miles and sweat.

The afternoon was filled with awe-inspiring sights, including an eye-opening walk-through of the hangar to experience the sheer scale of the aviation industry firsthand. Beyond the machinery, our students also learnt from the fruitful sharing sessions by KIT LEUNG, Joey, and Michael Wong. The engaging atmosphere sparked great curiosity, and our students were eager to ask questions about the industry. They walked away with a clearer understanding of HAECO’s history and the professional pathways of aircraft maintenance mechanics and engineers. This made the “dream” of aviation a tangible reality.

A massive thank you to KIT LEUNG, Ryan Cheung, and the entire HAECO Hong Kong team for your warm hospitality. By opening your doors—and your stories—to our students, you are helping us nurture a community where every child feels supported to explore their limitless potential. The road to success is long, but it is much easier to navigate when you are running alongside mentors who believe in you.
